MIAMI

So on Sunday morning I headed to Miami to shoot on the Monday day.
I was reall stoked that I got the option to fly in the morning which allowed me to get there at about 12.30 lunch time ish.

This ment I got to spend all of the beautiful afternoon day at the beach!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me being an aussie from a beach town; of course I was super stoked.

It was such a lovely day blue skies all around as well as warm water; so I had a really fantastic swim in the surf.

not only was I excited to go to the beach but it was also the first place I had been in america apart from NYC and LA airport (not that that really counts ahha)

Today I got to shoot an amazing story in....... a PRIVATE JET yep I know effing awesome right!! hahaha

It was a busy day so I didn't get a chance to take any pictures of the jet, so you will have to wait and see what it's for and when it comes out to see the pictures its gonna be pretty amazing!

below are some pictures of the miami beach hope you enjoy.

Have to go get on my flight back to NYC now. But I'm working in NY tomorrow (hence why I'm not staying a couple more days to enjoy sun and surf), as well as most of this week and next so you should all get some good posts over the next few weeks. NOT TO MENTION my first real!!!! halloween (it's not really celebrated in aus) so get excited for that post! I'm seriously so excited for it

enjoy the pics and post soon

Brooklyn Bridge - Sunrise

I got to NYC last Monday. The next day I was awake at 4am due to jetlag woohoo hahaa. I was talking to a friend from London and they suggested I go watch the sunrise from brooklyn bridge. Since I wasn't doing anything else I figured why not haha, and I hadn't seen it before. So I dragged jess out of bed really early as well and we both headed down to Brooklyn Bridge to watch the sunrise.

We got there pretty early so we saw it from start to finish and it was really amazing. below are the pictures from the sunrise hope you like them.

I no that normally when I'm in NYC I'm pretty lazy and don't do much so I don't post but I'm trying to stay in London mode (whenever I'm in London I do heaps of stuff, hence wh it's called London mode haha) so I'm going to try and do/see some stuff here as I normally don't so you guys really haven't seen much from NY on my blog :)... BUT you will now :D

london weekend

Sorry for not posting on Sunday night like I said I would, but I got stuck packing (not fun!).

On the weekend I had a really amazing couple of days, and not to mention how fantastic the weather was in London!!!! blue skies and sun all around was very strange for London!

I definitally took advantage of the amazing weather on Saturday!
on Saturday I went to:
-Broadway Markets (Pritchards rd, in shoreditch)
broadway markets are quiet nice smaller then your typical market. But they sell lots of really good food; more in the sense of raw produce like fruit & veg, meats cheeses breads etc. as well as cute market store like second hand books, clothes bags and things like that.

-Greenwich
Greenwich is known for the 'International meridian' or the 'Greenwich meridian'. Which is where the 0 degree longitude line runs through the 'Royal Observatory, of Greenwich'. The Royal Palace was located in Greenwich from the 15th century, but after the 'English civil war' it was rebuilt as the 'Royal Naval hospital for sailors', then became a college in 1873. some of the buildings are now used by the University of Greenwich and the Trinity college of music, it's also open to the public.
If you walk up to the observatory you get this really amazing view of London.

-Primrose hill
Primrose hill is a short walk from camden town tube station. if you walk to the top of the hill you get a great view of London. It's basically the view from the opposite side to greenwich. really amazing!

Sunday
on Sunday I went to the National Portrait Gallery, which is near the 'South Kensington' tube stop. This gallery is really great as some really beautiful portraits on display and I definitally think its well worth going there if you ever get to London.

below are some pictures hope you like.

EDITORIALS

Yep I know I said yesturday that my post today would be about what I did today. However I am planning on doing quiet a number of things tomorrow as well so I decided I would do my editorial post today and then tomorrow I would do a post about my weekend instead of just Saturday :)

So as I think you guys will be aware at the moment I'm in quiet a few editorials. The one's I am going to talk about in this post are: SELFSERVICE, BLOCK, VOGUE ITALIA, GREY & PONYSTEP. (I also put a pic from the Neil Barrett campaign just because I love the photograph so much and wanted to share it with you guys if you hadn't seen it already.)

SELF SERVICE
This was a pretty amazing shoot as I got to go to the Ukraine (totally random I know) which seriously was one of the most unique beautiful places I have seen; in regards to the landscapes, architecture etc.

VOGUE ITALIA
This vogue italia story was shot a couple hours outside of London. It was a really good couple of days just shooting and hanging out with some really great people (models and crew). During the shooting time I got to ride on the scooters which was so much fun. as well as getting to spend sometime at the beach; not that I really classified it as a beach as it really was just rocks (pretty sure that doesn't count as a beach!!! haha) but I guess I have been spoiled a bit with the good old sunny coast beaches :)

BLOCK
block shoot was quiet good it was shot in one day in a studio near bedford in brooklyn NY. had a really good team working so was a fun day of shooting

GREY
Okay so where do I start with GREY. Well it was a pretty sick shoot to do! first of all because it was shot in germany! second of all the location was in this really amazing futuristic Mercedes Benz Museum and finally I was working with really good crew (I'm pretty lucky with how often I really like the people I work with when I shot!). I really liked the photographer (Chadwick) and fashion editor/stylist (Valentina) combination (as well as them personally). I think that both Valentina and Chadwick have this really fantastic quirk about them! which makes them work really well together. OH and the cover omg I think its really beautiful and I'm not just saying that cause I'm on it. I really love it a lot.

PONYSTEP
ponystep was also a fun one to shot because we were really aloud to to what we want, which I loved. This was done in london so of course I was stoked as London is probally my favourite out of the 4 main cities (NYC, Paris, London, Milan) Ben was pretty cool to work with as well. I also really enjoyed it because there was about 6 of us models, so was good to catch up with some of them.

below are some pics of my favourite photographs from the editorials.
