Drawings

Hey all I hope everyone is good.

So in a previous post I said I had been putting my drawings on my tumblr. I know some don't have it or know how to use it so I decided I would do a small post with some of my recent drawings.

I hope you like them as much as I do. I will Try and post about something interesting soon.

Oh and also I head to London soon most likely the 12th of may. For those who were curious.

Reem Acra bridal show

Hey everyone.

Yesterday I was in the Reem Acra bridal show. It was such a beautiful show and I got the honor of opening it.

This is the second bridal show I have done and I always find it sort of a strange feeling to wear a wedding dress. I had a number of people saying I would make a beautiful bride and I thought to myself how strange a comment to make. Very nice thing to say but I think everyone makes a beautiful bride? Don't you think? Brides normally have this special glow about them. And well the dress just complements that :)

Also I got to do the show with a number of my friends Jess and brie as well as vasilisa so that always makes it really enjoyable!

Marc Jacobs 'Dot'

Hey guys.

I hope you are all well.

So here is my 'Dot' post like I promised you all last night. :)


When I found out I got confirmed for Marc Jacobs new fragrance I was absolutely stoked. Firstly because it will be the Biggest job I have done in my career so far, secondly because I got to go to the Maldives which I previously had not been, and I really really wanted a campaign as I had/have been working so hard and I just wanted something that people would be like wow thats really great. I'm sure all of you have been in positions where you want to get or do something really badly and feel like your waiting and waiting for it to happen. well thats sort of how I felt. So when the option came on I told myself dont get to excited its only a option at the moment. because for all those who don't know options come and go like there is know tomorrow. So when this confirmed it just made my holidays as I was at home in Australia with my family and they were all so happy for me as they knew how much it ment for me personally and for my career.

Now lets talk Maldives. If any of you have been you will know how amazing it is and why I recommend everyone to go who wants a beach beautiful holiday. The people are so nice and the beachs, food, and skies are amazing. When I say the skies are amazing I truely mean they are. In Australia we are very lucky to have beautiful star filled skies which aren't the same anywhere else! However I spent a number of nights while I was there lying on the beach and looking at the stars its truely breath taking!

This was seriously the best job I have done so far in my career! I had the best time. Due to Juergen (photographer)shooting on film there was lots of time to do things around the island because the sun was to harsh for most of the morning. You can snorkel right off the island lots of beautiful sun to enjoy and OMG the food words couldnt even begin to describe how delicious it all was.

They had the most amazing breakfast ever. For those who dont know me personally I love food and breaky is the best! escpecially when its a buffet. They had people who would make you omeletes and fresh juices, cut up fruit and all kinds of amazing thing. I personally love fruit not only is it super great for you but its so delicious. The great thing about the fuit bar was there was so many types I had not tried before so I got the chance to try a bunch of things I had not tried let alone seen or heard of before. While I'm still on the topic of food. I remember this one day where we ask for coconuts and they came back 15minutes later wwith fresh ones from the tree was super exciting!

It was an intense trip there, long flight but being from Australia I'm use to them. However when I refer to intense flight I dont mean the distance! so I had to do the following.
drive to Brisbane
fly from Brisbane - Malaysia (I think, I go on to many flights these days haha)
fly from Malaysia - Male
fly from Male - to small random island
then boat from small random island - to our island.

On the last flight it was only 45mins however a very traumatic expericence that I hope to not experience again! we were on an extremely small local plane and the whole way the turbulence was seriously so bad I was so scared! when we finally landed I almost wanted to kiss the ground! haha funny now but at the time not so funny.

So thats about the trip I know I ramble a lot so I'm sorry for that.

But one last thing I would like to say.

I'm extremely honoured to have been chosen by Marc for his new fragrance and that he has continuely used me in a number of his shows; Marc has furthered my career a lot and I hope to continue working with him. I'm really excited to represent this Fragrance as I feel ever woman and girl can relate to her (Dot), as she is such a fun and interesting person. We never really know what to expect from her but thats half the fun right! I truely hope you all love the scent as much as I do and I can't wait for everyone to get there hands on it.

Hey all.

Hope you are all fantastic and having amazing weekends.

So as you are aware I said I had some things to post about. Which I still haven't but I will try do it tomorrow. See the thing is that I don't know how to upload pictures onto my blog from my iPad and I very rarely use my computer which leads me to the reason as to which I have not posted. So I apologize for that.

But I shall give you an update a catch I suppose. :)

I have been in NYC a couple weeks now after being home for a week. I have done some really exciting things in the last week or so and have some really great options coming up so keep your fingers crossed for me as I really want them to come through.

As most of you are aware now. I am the new face of Marc Jacobs new fragrance 'Dot' and I'm extremely excited for everyone to get there hands on it as its smell so amazing. I think tomorrow I shall post about that and the week I spent in the Maldives shooting the campaign. So keep your eyes peeled.

Also just a reminder for those that are curious and did not know. I have twitter (you can find the link in previous post on blog). I also have a tumblr (link in a previous post). And I know a number of you have asked to see some of my art work I have started sharing more; which has taken me a while to do but I do love to draw and I figure that since its such a big part of who I am it shows more of an insight to me maybe. But anyway after that ramble. I hope those who see my drawings enjoy them.
